When I have to choose a drink, I almost always go for beer over wine. I have been to numerous beer breweries both in the United States and abroad but never a winery.
My family is much different in the way they consume wine. They have always had a glass of wine for dinner every Friday night for as long as I remember. My parents are in a local wine club at a farm/winery near my house. My grandfather works for a wine distribution center and always supplies us with nice wine at family events.
I am in this class to try to expand my knowledge of wine. I want to learn to talk-the-talk as long as knowing what I am consuming.
